Since 2022, founding member Minya DeJohnette has operated a pop-up clinic at various locations in Kingston, NY. This grass-roots operation has provided free monthly acupuncture, sound baths, massage, and chair yoga to under-served local residents, including members of the un-housed population.
She started practicing acupuncture in Kingston in 2009 and operated a sliding scale community clinic fo 13 years, she currently runs a private clinic in Uptown Kingston, NY
She has passed on the operation of the Pop-Ups to Danica Pierre-Louis.

Danica Pierre-Louis is a dedicated and passionate individual who has spent her life in Ulster County, contributing to the growth and development of her community. Currently working in the human services field, Danica specializes in youth services, outreach, and recruitment, focusing on helping young people realize their potential. She believes deeply in the power of mentorship and professional development as tools for community empowerment. Beyond her professional endeavors, Danica is also a committed mentor to both children and young adults in her community, guiding them toward success.
As an active “sports-mom,” she also coaches a youth basketball team, bringing her leadership and teamwork skills into the sports world.
In her personal journey toward well-being, Danica discovered the benefits of self-care practices, including intuitive chakra oracle reading, sound healing meditation, and crystal energy healing. Through these practices, she aims to introduce new ways of healing and self-care to her community, believing that they are vital components for both personal and collective growth. Danica remains dedicated to nurturing her community, ensuring its members can thrive physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
Sakinah Irizarry

With over 2000 hours of training and experience, Sakinah been a licensed massage therapist in New York since 2007, dedicated to providing personalized sessions to offer you the relief you seek. she takes great pride in her work and aims to bring that sense of joy and focus to every session within a professional and calming environment.
Her expertise lies in reducing joint pain and muscle tension caused by postural habits, overuse syndromes, and emotional stress, offering a range of modalities including myofascial, Swedish, and prenatal massage for a tailored experience. Her practice is in Saugerties, NY
Beyond her practice, she is a devoted mother, Star Trek fan, maker of empanadas, and a passionate advocate for racial equity in our community, and in her profession.

Brooklyn Johnson

Brooklyn is a self-taught Graffiti artist. Growing up in Brooklyn and parts of Upstate NY, her passions started to to surface in the late 90's and she developed a huge passion for graffiti art.
She works in multiple mediums including clothing and Timberlands (which are amazing).
She also runs a catering business in the Kingston area called House of Brooklyn.
Krystal Bullock

Krystal Bullock is a Kingston Native who runs the Youth Program at the Kingston Boys and Girls Club's Greenkill House. The Greenkill house works with Kid's and young adults who have aged out of the Boy's and Girl's club.
She previously worked for Family of Woodstock and is a tireless advocate for the Kingston community.
Arlene Peoples

Arlene Peoples is a proud Kingstonian and a lifelong Kingston resident. She is a single mom of two amazing young adults. She worked as a Teacher’s Aide for Head Start in her earlier years, which was an amazing experience. She also worked at Kingston Hospital for 17 years as a Central Supply Technician. She previously worked at the Taconic Developmental Disabilities Services Office (DDSO) for 5 years, caring for developmentally disabled individuals. She played in The City of Kingston’s Softball league for 35 years, which she loved so much and met a lot of amazing people. She is a member of and attends Point of Praise Church. She attends service regularly. There, she distributes food to our community monthly and on Saturdays she volunteers whenever needed.
